Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of South Carolina. Before becoming a mom, she was Chief Financial Officer for a non-profit.

When her children were young, Kimberly chose to be a stay-at-home mom. After ten years, she went to work with her husband at Christy Capital. She feels they make a great team, and she loves working closely with Mel.

A member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church, Kimberly works with preschool and nursery-aged kids. She also volunteers at a non-profit that provides support for foster families in the Columbia area.

Kimberly and Mel have been married for more than 25 years. They’ve been blessed with four children, three through the gift of adoption. They have also been foster parents to almost 50 children and currently have two foster children in their home that they hope to adopt soon. Kimberly’s passions are family and volunteering in her community.
