Owen earned a BS degree in Finance from the University of North Georgia. Prior to joining Christy Capital Management, he spent three years with Retirement Benefits Institute helping federal employees prepare for and understand their retirement options. 

Owen is an active member of Redeemer Baptist Church in Macon. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and camping, reading, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
