Mel has earned Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina and brings a wealth of experience to Christy Capital. With a decade of owning a successful real estate investment business and a background as a licensed real estate agent, Mel is a valuable asset to the team.

Outside of work, Mel is a dedicated member of Riverland Hills Baptist Church. A talented musician, he sings tenor in the men’s quartet “4 Heaven’s Sake” and showcases his musical skills weekly with the Modern Worship Band, playing the keyboard and singing.

Family plays a central role in Mel’s life. Married to Kimberly for over 27 years, they are parents to six children, with five blessings through adoption. Remarkably, they have also been foster parents to nearly 50 children, demonstrating their commitment to giving back and supporting their community.

When not working or performing music, Mel enjoys golfing and cherishing quality time with his loved ones. His diverse interests and dedication to both his career and personal life showcase a well-rounded individual with a passion for finance, music, and family.
